The building was very clean and pleasant. I loved the fact that they have a regular nursing side and an apartment side for more independent residents. The staff at Lorien made me feel like it was their pleasure to care for my grandmother. I didn’t feel like just a number. I was able to meet their administrator, and every question was answered politely and thoroughly.

The care my mother received was amazing. The nursing staff and aides were very caring and responsive. The physical and occupational therapists were awesome, working on the things she needed to accomplish to come home safely, and giving her a gentle nudge on the few occasions she wasn’t too keen to participate. Her room was cleaned every day. Everyone; the front desk staff, the social workers, the medical staff, the therapy staff, and the custodial staff were always friendly and helpful.
